Henry Paulet is a Melbourne based sound designer & engineer and lighting designer for dance, theatre, live music and events.
Henry’s work, while based primarily in these four fields, is spread across a vast range of genres including artistic installations and corporate audio/visual.
He has worked at a professional level across sound, lighting and vision with acclaimed artists such as Johnathon Welch, The Little Stevies and the Michelle Nicolle Quartet as well as major Melbourne events such as the Australian Open.
His experience has allowed him to grow Henry Paulet Design from the ground up; enabling the business to flourish with the design concepts and ‘know-how’ clients desire and Henry Paulet is known for.
While completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Production) at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), Henry has been heavily involved in many performances including Spring Awakening (2016 – Radio Mic Technician), End of Year Dance – Season 2 (2016 – Audio Operator), There’s No Changing Yesterday (2017 – Audio System Designer), ‘FRISK’ (2017 – Melbourne Fringe Festival, Audio System Designer) and End of Year Dance – Season 2 (2017 – Audio System Designer).
“Beginning in my early teens, Sound and Lighting became a fundamental aspect and passion of my life. Through experimentation, education and experience, I have developed a thorough understanding of the Audio/Visual industry and have worked in a variety of venues and locations with widely varying equipment and artists.
Beginning work in this industry early on has enabled me to adopt a new and modern approach to both sound and lighting that has been appreciated by each and every client. I look forward to yet another successful year of Technical Production in 2018.
